Value Marketing | The Rise Of Content Marketing

Value marketing, it almost sounds like a new phrase is being coined, but not really. The rise in importance of content marketing is a must for and business owner or entrepreneur trying to get ahead online.

adding value

Do you add value?, you better. With the changes to many search engines on the rise, content is becoming the most important part of a solid business presence online, and you need to learn how to take advantage of that fact.

Here we will go over some of the facts, fiction and ideas about adding value to your presence online, and the ways in which you can add it.

The “Value” Marketer Is Here To Stay…

Value marketing online is simple; create the content that serves the best interest of the searcher. Enough said, well at least I wish, but unfortunately, there are far too many people still trying to get this.

I do not know about you, but I hate being sold, and apparently after the statistics online for 2012 have proven, so do most people looking to buy, subscribe or do whatever online.

We are all looking for value, that’s it, plain and simple. But if you are a marketer or business owner trying to get your products, services and opportunities out there, how do you create value online? Easy, and we will go over it now…

But before we do that, remember, there is work to be done online, you need to learn to stand apart from your competition and simply dominate through information in the “information” age.

Monkey See, Monkey Do…And They Threw Poop.

It’s not just you, the search engines like Google are looking for a more information, and not just any information, but trusted information. Guess what, you have to create it, that is how value is made.

monkey poop

Content marketing is nothing new, it has been around the block and again, but it has been wholly ignored by most marketers. Unfortunately for them, today this is the only way to truly grow their brand. Talk about being behind the curve.

For the most part, many individuals here were taught to throw poop like a monkey instead of creating value for their traffic. Don’t believe me?, look at some of the sites out here. They are short on content, huge on hyperbole.

Hey, if you think you were one of those people, it’s not your fault, it is the fault of those who taught you and knew better. Now you just have to pick up the pieces and start creating…

What is most amazing however, is the fact o how many people who learn to create relevant and valuable content love doing it. Yes, you actually get to love your job! I did, and so did many of those I taught. it’s fun.

Better than that though, is the fact that through adding quality content like video, images and words, this can help create a trust between you and your visitors.

I Stopped Throwing Out Garbage, And Worried About Quality…

By slowing down just a little bit, I was able to put together quality content. Along with video, images and good linking structure with a mixture of good CTA’s (call to action), value is what it offered, and quality leads is what it brought.

Get into what you do, enjoy it and spell out that enjoyment through the content you create. Video, images and links to other useful information adds value to not only the content itself, but to the people who view it.

This is value marketing, creating quality answers for the questions people have.

Value marketing is content marketing. It is what truly builds your brand and the trust that goes with it. This is “why” you will be the last stop for someone looking to buy or subscribe to something online.
